Scriptures of the Week

Week One: Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.  12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit. 13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You.-Psalm 51:10-13 (NKJ)

Week Two: Ephesians 4:29-32 (NKJ)

Week 3:   Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.  Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.-Colossians 3:2-7 (NKJ)

Week 4:James 1:14-15

    1. Thank you Debbie. I have been slacking with this one lately because I wanted to memorize every verse I put on there, but I think I will start again even if I don’t get them memorized.

  1. Hello Missy, I Googled “what does blessed and highly favored mean?” And you were at the top of the list 😊. Thank you for a clear answer to the above meaning, especially the bible texts. You’re right about the importance of Obedience to God and the blessings that come with it.
May God continue to use you to be a blessing to others, your sister in Christ.
    Pauline😌
